Use the Built-In CSV Migration Flow in Integrations
Sabdov handles migration through the same Integrations area used for day-to-day sync management. Download the right sample file, upload your CSV, review the preview draft, then use Integration Logs to confirm what happened after import.
Validate Before Final Import
Migration Checklist
Export or clean your source CSV
Remove incomplete rows and normalize product references before you bring the file into Sabdov.
Download the latest sample
Use "Download sample" from the import card and choose the Generic, Shopify, or WooCommerce template that best matches your source.
Upload reviews and build the preview
Use "Upload reviews" to create the preview draft and open the import preview.
Resolve validation issues
Fix rows with missing product references, invalid author emails, bad ratings, or invalid created_at timestamps.
Confirm matched products
Use the preview step to verify external ID matches first, then check any rows that fell back to product title matching.
Review Integration Logs
After import, open "Integration Logs" and review both "Integration History" and "Import CSV History".
Critical Validation Warning
The importer requires the `author_name`, `rating`, and `body` headers, and each upload is limited to 500 rows. Product mismatch is the most common import blocker, so make sure each row has either `product_external_id` or `product_title` that matches your synced catalog.
Template Selection Guide
| Source Platform | Recommended Template | Auto-Mapping Support |
|---|---|---|
| Custom export or legacy data | Generic template | Full Auto |
| Shopify-aligned review export | Shopify template | Full Auto |
| WooCommerce-aligned review export | WooCommerce template | Full Auto |
| Rows needing manual cleanup | Generic template after normalization | Manual Mapping |
Before you publish imported reviews
Choose the right migration template, validate your source data, and move your historical reviews into Sabdov with fewer manual fixes.
