Set Up the Trust Widget for Your Storefront
Start in Settings -> Widgets. Pick a showcase layout, open the Customize drawer, save changes, and use Preview Page before you generate code or publish anything to the storefront.
Before You Start
Integrations Already Synced
The showcase workspace is most useful after Shopify or WooCommerce has synced products and recent review context.
At Least One Active Product
You need synced catalog data if you want previews and snippet checks to reflect a live product.
First-Run Setup Path
Open the widget workspace
Open the Install shortcut or go directly to Settings -> Widgets.
Pick a layout card
Choose one of the available showcase layouts: List, Masonry, Grid, or Carousel.
Open Customize
Each layout card has a `Customize` action that opens the right-side drawer with the current preview layout already selected.
Adjust and save the drawer
Work inside the drawer sections, then use `Save Changes` so the current layout snapshot becomes the source for preview and storefront output.
Use Preview Page
After saving, use `Preview Page` to open the hosted showcase output for the current layout and device state.
Move into snippet generation
Once the showcase layout is ready, continue to `Generate Snippet Code` from a product page when you need copyable storefront embed output.
Common Widget Setup Checks
| Error Message | Potential Cause | Resolution |

| Preview Page shows an old layout | The latest drawer edits were not saved before Preview Page was opened. | Use `Save Changes`, confirm the save finishes, then reopen Preview Page for the selected layout. |
| Widget preview looks empty | The store has no synced product context yet, or the selected product and showcase state do not have usable content to display. | Confirm Integrations has synced products, keep at least one active product available, and retry the preview after saving the current layout. |
| Storefront output did not change after editing | The current widget snapshot was not saved, or the live storefront is still using an older snippet or cached output. | Save the drawer first, re-check Preview Page, then refresh the storefront or re-copy the snippet if you changed the installation target. |
Before you publish
Open the widget workspace, choose the right layout, save the drawer, and validate Preview Page before you deploy storefront code.
